Steelcase Gesture Wrapped Back Chair - Cogent Connect Blue Jay

Gesture places its seat-height and depth control at the front knob and its recline tension and variable back stop at the rear knob. The arms adjust through a broad range for different keyboard and device positions. This listing is the wrapped-back Cogent Connect Blue Jay configuration, with Platinum Metallic frame and base, Seagull accents, adjustable lumbar support and hard-floor casters. Measure your seated keyboard position before ordering, and check that the listed wheels suit your flooring. A wrapped back covers the rear cushion with upholstery; it is a distinct configuration from the exposed shell-back chair. The genuine Steelcase photograph was made in 2013 and shows the same visible fabric, wrapped-back body and light finish; it does not depict a headrest. Optional lumbar support and caster specification are established by the listing and manufacturer documentation rather than inferred from the photograph. We have not tested fit, cushion feel or long-term durability.
