The Logitech M705 Marathon Wireless Mouse, identified particularly as part number 910-001935, is offered in a Dark Silver color variant with black sides. This color scheme is confirmed by Logitech's official June 2024 product catalog and is visually supported by a product photograph under a commercial license showing the actual unit with a dark-silver top and black sides. The mouse exhibits a sculpted shape designed for right-hand users, catering to shoppers who prefer an ergonomically contoured fit tailored to one hand orientation. This specific right-hand sculpted design may influence comfort and handling preferences but lacks explicit ergonomic benefit claims in the evidence provided. One of the defining features of the M705 is its hyper-fast scrolling capability, designed for efficient navigation through documents or web pages. This feature may appeal to users who value speedy scrolling performance. The scrolling function utilizes Logitech technology that supports accelerated movement through content, although the exact technical details and performance metrics are not specified in the available evidence.
Battery life is highlighted as a major selling point for the M705. It carries a claim of up to 3 years of battery life, which suggests low power consumption and reduced frequency of battery replacements or recharging. The details about battery type or conditions affecting battery duration are not documented in the sources, so buyers should consider that actual performance may depend on usage patterns and environmental factors. Regarding compatibility and packaging, it is important to note that the M705 model 910-001935 is often paired with an older Logitech receiver package designated B003TG75EG. This is confirmed through independent retailer listings and reinforces that the product shipping with this part number should not be substituted by the newer package identified as 910-006033 or ASIN B087Z733CM, which corresponds to a different mouse model or color. This distinction is critical for consumers who may require compatibility with existing Logitech receivers or wish to avoid confusion with different product generations or color variants such as 'Graphite' or 'Dark Gray' often used interchangeably in reseller listings. This mouse targets users needing a reliable wireless solution with right-hand orientation, a long-lasting battery, and advanced scrolling. However, certain shopper decisions might be influenced by the lack of data on specific grip size compatibility, DPI adjustment features, or the presence of additional programmable buttons, as these details are absent in the available evidence. Potential buyers would benefit from checking these specifications through additional official Logitech information or retailer details prior to purchase if these factors influence their use cases.
The limitations in the documented evidence also include no available information on in-hand feel, durability under extended use, or real-world wireless connectivity range. Pricing, availability, and user reviews are outside the scope of the evidence provided and therefore should be sourced independently to gain a complete purchasing perspective.
In summary, the Logitech M705 Marathon Wireless Mouse Dark Silver (part 910-001935) offers a hyper-fast scrolling experience combined with an extended battery life claim and a right-hand ergonomic form factor. Its identification with an older Logitech receiver package and exact color details should be carefully considered to ensure match with user expectations and system compatibility.
